Shannon
Shannon graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s degree in Social Work and completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S in Psychology. Shannon has worked with children, adolescents and young adults for over 20 years helping them live their truths and overcoming their obstacles and guiding them through life’s transitions. Shannon has an eclectic approach to therapy as every person is unique and every person has different goals for therapy. Shannon has worked extensively with those battling eating disorders, trauma and abuse, anxiety and depression and working through grief and loss. Shannon believes that the work that can be done in outpatient therapy can transcend lives and she’s honored to be a part of someone’s healing process and therapeutic journey. Shannon has a broad range of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples and families. She enjoys facilitating group therapy for those struggling with eating disorders, “30 something” groups, single parent groups etc.
Please note that this therapist is an independent contractor. She is not an employee, partner, or joint venturer, agency, or fiduciary. She is self-employed, and contracted, on an as needed basis, to facilitate fee-for-service Outpatient Therapy at The Counseling and Wellness Center of Exton. As such, she decides on her fee, as well as schedule.
